Summary/Abstract: The effectiveness of the functioning of the labor market can be assessed by the number of facts of employment by job seekers. This article attempts to determine the impact of selected major macroeconomic variables on outflows from unemployment, defined as the total outflow from unemployment due to employment. As a research tool an expanded matches function was used, which is a mathematical recognition combining test pieces (in this case, job seekers and employers). The tool is also used to determine the impact of economic changes on the balance of the labor market. The matches function was constructed in accordance with the principles of the construction of dynamic cause and effect models.
