Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the use of swap bodies in the BDF system (gem. Bundesverband des Deutschen Güterfernverkehrs) in the context of shortening the manipulative activities in order to obtain the best results and reduce costs. Nowadays, people are increasingly shopping online, expecting the fastest possible delivery. In the further part of the article was developed a concept for the implementation of a BDF project in courier cars. Time is extremely important in the courier industry, therefore the proposed concept is aimed at shortening the delivery time in the warehouse–recipient relationship.
