Summary/Abstract: The goal of the presented paper is to provide a description of the life of Natalia Solzhenitsyn – the widow of famous writer Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn. The essay discusses her family roots, youth, years of study, acquaintance to the future Nobel Prize Laureate, years spent in emigration in Switzerland and USA, return to Russia and her present role as the keeper of memory of her deceased husband.
