WAYS OF ELECTION AND DESIGNATION OF ORGANS LOCAL - SOME ASPECTS OF COMPARATIVE LAW

Summary/Abstract: Countries of the European Union go through a general revision of public policies modeled to better serve the citizens and permit them to exercise their right to live well in their own country, in their own region, in their own town. In all legal systems analyzed there is at least one, but often two or three levels of government under the central government and in all there are more such administrative levels generally, such as communes or municipalities, and the system of electing representative bodies, although they know significant variations from one state to another, have although a single overall objective - ensuring good local administration and implementation of the principle of participatory democracy.
