Influence of Solvency II on costs in insurance companies

Summary/Abstract: Solvency II should be applied in Polish insurance companies in few years. The purpose of this project is to create a new system of solvency estimation. Two areas which are most important for this project are risks and capitals. Both are connected with costs in insurance companies. Therefore Solvency II could have big influence on results in these financial institutions. The preparation of Solvency II application requires a lot of time, work and money because insurance companies will have to prepare new documents for financial reporting.
