Knowing the Action under Disasters and Accidents

Summary/Abstract: In recent years human lives are influenced by many risky events. Human security mostly depends on knowing basic rules for reacting to crisis events. Crisis events can be not only expected but also managed. With quick reaction and adequate reduction the risk of casualties and injuries is possible. The subject of the survey is the level of awareness of disaster response or accidents at several universities in Bulgaria. The survey was conducted through a survey by questioner of teachers, employees and students. The results of the given questions show a very low level of awareness. There has been a lack or relatively rare implementation of emergency drills and exercises and the need for increased security measures.
