Identification of E-mobility as a Phenomenon in the Context of Present Challenges

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to call readers’ attention to significant benefits (in many various fields of social activities), which arise from electric transportation. Advantages and faults of hybrid plug-in, hybrid and electric cars (which more and more often appear on the market) have been characterized. A confrontation of the mentioned cars’ attributes, taking into account selected criteria like: effectiveness, ecology, comfort, economy and politics,has been also included. Governmental as well as European activities in the area of emobility have been mentioned. Moreover, there have been also discussed possibilities connected with dissemination of electric vehicles.
