Summary/Abstract: The article highlights several key issues revealed during the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. This include, among others: the need to accelerate the digitization process, primarily in healthcare, and the need for new solutions in the field of ICT to support the fight against coronavirus. Additionally, the issue of assistance activities by ICT companies undertaken in order to reduce the size of digitally excluded social groups was discussed. A number of noticed disruptions in the functioning of information systems in the epidemic area and the methods of eliminating them were also referred to.
