Summary/Abstract: This study critically analyses, from a law and economics perspective, the evolution of the Court of Justice of the European Union case-law on price transparency in consumer credit agreements in Kásler, Matei, and Kiss cases. In Kiss (2019), the Court tries to take a step back after adding to the standard of informative transparency (of Kásler, 2014) some excessive requirements on explanatory transparency (in Matei, 2017).
