Summary/Abstract: The article addresses the question as to whether the Polish Constitution lays a solid foundation for a higher level of consumer protection as required of the member states by EU regulations. The research has been conducted in the context of article 76 of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland and article 169 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union.
