Summary/Abstract: This article draws upon content analysis of the leading evening news program on Polish public television – Wiadomości. The authors examine how Germany was presented in this news service. The research sample includes every news item concerning Germany that was broadcast from March 1 to May 31 in 2015, and in the same period in 2017. The study shows that Germany is often used instrumentally and in a negative context.
