Textological Analysis of Dialogues in Hungarian Dramas in Vojvodina

Summary/Abstract: The subject of the paper is to present the textological features of dramatic dialogues. Linguistic tools are approached from a functional point of view, which aims to demonstrate their communicative role. The purpose of this study is to describe the general characteristics of dramatic dialogues and the spoken language characteristics that result in the spontaneous nature of the given texts; the results of the study provide insight into the mental processes required to create and interpret texts.
