Petru Maiors interest in Spanish culture

Summary/Abstract: The influences of the Spanish culture in the writings of Petru Maior, through books, were solid arguments in support of the recognition of the Latin origin of the language and the Romanian people. In the present study, some Spanish authors of printed works and theological invoice theories are highlighted, who, in various cases, mentioned the origin and preponderance of the Latin background in the Romanian lexicon and the relation with the other Latin people as well; Italians, French and Spaniards.
