Summary/Abstract: Chronic diseases affect the self-esteem and quality of life of patients. These diseases require a variety of healthcare, for which the patients and their families need specific skills, psychological support and material resources. Therapeutic training and patient support programs include management and counseling for medicines via telephone, mail, and internet applications. They have the potential to improve the care of chronic illness through various activities and complex therapies. Bulgaria has recently studied the impact of patient programs and therapeutic training on improving the quality of life and the functional status of patients who underwent such programs
