INNOVATIVE METHODS AND TECHNOLOGIES FOR CONTROL OF CHRONIC DISEASES

Summary/Abstract: The introduction of innovative methods and technologies for the diagnosis and treatment process is crucial to the development of medicine. Laboratory studies support correct diagnosis and monitoring of all diseases based on the principles and standards of good medical practice. The aim of this article is to investigate and represent some of the innovative POCT-based methods used to control chronic diseases. Material and methods: it includes retrospective analysis, obtaining 31 scientific articles, which explain the benefits of POCT laboratory diagnosis implementation. The perspectives and the possible opportunities of tests conducted in patients` homes or themselves are represented.
