Summary/Abstract: The article presents the main concepts of risk and hazmat for the environment, the legislation and some operational problems in the EU, USA and a study case for Romania. Terrorism crimes are involved in our dairy lives, and the use of the dangerous hazmat substances can create significant damage for human life and the environment.
