Summary/Abstract: The experience of losing a job is always a crisis situation. The condition for effective coping with unemployment is the mobilization of all available resources, among which the subjective psychological potentials of coping deserve special attention, and the sense of coherence, values and social support are particularly important. The aim of the presented research was, therefore, to assess the relationship between social support for the unemployed and selected resources, which made it possible to create an image of the unemployed and their support with particular emphasis on the sense of coherence and the values preferred by them.
