Summary/Abstract: The subject of this research is the management of crisis communication of political organizations. Its object are two main political parties in Bulgaria – GERB and BSP. The following thesis is proved: political parties do not have at their disposal a system of good communication management in times of crisis. On this basis a working model for effective crisis communication of political parties is made. It includes principles as fastness and honesty and it also manages communication with inner and outer stakeholders, media and political opponents. The model is approbated during the research; it’s also enriched with good practice and advices. This research contributes with this model for effective crisis communication of political parties.
