Summary/Abstract: The terrorist attacks repeatedly determine the headlines of the coverage in the mass media. Some focus primarily on the facts, others focus on the horror and grief. The focus of the present article is therefore on the comparison of reporting on terrorist attacks in the German tabloid and quality press with regard to the strategies of emotionalization using language.
