Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present selected aspects of the activities of the Polish legation in Sofia in the years 1930–1941, based on the analysis of documents contained in the “Polish Diplomatic Documents” series. These sources indicate the intentions and main directions of activities of the Polish diplomatic mission in the political field. Due to the fact that the selection of Polish diplomatic documents included in the series was based on the criterion of importance, the analysis will also show the significance of the diplomatic mission in Sofia in Polish foreign policy of the period examined.
