The Contribution of the ‘Epistolary Handbook’ of Sava Dobroplodni in the Process of Building the Modern Bulgarian Commercial and Legal Culture

Summary/Abstract: This article presents the contribution of the ‘Epistolary handbook’ of Sava Dobroplodni in the process of building the modern Bulgarian commercial and legal culture. The handbook is published in 1853. It continues the tendency of the offered models of commercial letters to be as clear as possible for the reader, to be creative in accordance with the needs and peculiarities of the local market. Although this tendency does not start with the ‘Epistolary handbook’ of Sava Dobroplodni, it will become a ‘rule’ for future editions – a ‘rule’ that will continue even then, when will be translating and publishing in Bulgarian language foreign copyright works in the field of the commercial and legal matter.
