Summary/Abstract: The act of 31 march 2016 amending the law on investment funds implemented to the polish legal system directive 2011/61/UE and 2014/91/UE (so called UCITS V), as well as transposisted the EU Commission regulation 231/2013. It introduced harmonized supervision over financial market aimed at mitigating risk for investors. New regulations require organizational changes in the investment funds as well as introduces new reporting obligation towards The Polish Financial Supervision Authority. The changes affects not only investment funds but also enterprises cooperating with them, in particular in field of portfolio investment management. The article details analysis of those changes.
