Debates and Areas of Research in the Romanian Historiography Regarding World War 1

Summary/Abstract: The article explores the developments known by the memory ant the historiography of the Great War in Romania in the context of the century which separates us from the events. The approach analyzes the main themes and areas of concern structuring the making of the memory and history of the Great War in the interwar years and follows the evolution of those during the Second World War and the communist era until the post-communist years at the end of the past century and the beginning of current one.
