Summary/Abstract: The speech of the village of Grevë (Skrapar) fall sunder the northerntosk dialect. The following philological studyis a serious attempt to bring into light the lexical characteristic sof the speech of the village of Grevë (Tomoricë-Skrapar). There can be noted numerous words, expressions, sayings, toponyms, typical oaths/swear and pleading, some of which have not been en countered during our philological researches. If separate dialectal or subdialectal word shave a particular interest for the Albanian lexicon inventory, in this matter, of a particular lexical-grammatical importance is the behaviour of the two composites enc ountered in this village: 1. drejtmethënë (truth be told/to say it right) 2. dukmeqenë (since). These underlined case shave not been previous lyen countered in the speech o other areas, not even in their written form.
