Summary/Abstract: This paper is about the connective "and" in the process of communication in two languages: French and Albanian. It is, more or less, an exhaustive study. Its characteristics and uses in different situations are given at the beginning of the paper. The illustrative examples are translated in Albanian or French languages, as appropriate. The focus of the examples is the French connective "et" (Albanian "e", "dhe", "edhe"). This connective shows that a little is known of "small" words. Lastly, we can say that this connective is used immensely along the process of communication.
