Summary/Abstract: The review presents the volume entitled Ingineri români: dicționar enciclopedic (Romanian Engineers: An Encyclopedic Dictionary)coordinated by Academician Gleb Drăgan, President of the Division of Technical Sciences within the Romanian Academy of Sciences. Apart from presenting the main sections of the dictionary, the author highlights some of the latter’s merits, the most significant of which being that it restores the historical value of Romanian engineers’ contribution to the development of their field.
