Summary/Abstract: In the Christian meaning, the communion with Christis a unique connection and a higher result than the redemptive work of God, coming out of the natural limits of man. In the Holly Scripture, the full meaning of the notion of communion is expressed by the Savior through the words “Let all be one,as You are in Me, and I am in You, that they also may be one in us” (John 17, 21). By the Eucharist, however, man has the opportunity to truly unite with Christ, and only in this way a true communion is gained and lived, knowing that the one who is in communion does not participate simply inthe feast but reaches a union with Christ, but also with the other participants. By communicating to the believers his own life, joining Him deeply in Christ, Christ unites them as members of the same Body, “and you are the Body of Christ and parting each one” (1 Cor. 12, 27). In this context, the idea of Church and Holy Liturgy has one and the same content, they cannot be separated in anyway, and the Eucharistic act committed within them completely perfects this essence in separability between them. The idea ofcommunion in Christ is eminently eclesiastical and liturgical. It is the idea of communion that first defines the Church. The Divine Liturgy is the heart of all the prayers of the Church, a heart of deep and wide communion, especially by bringing the Eucharistic sacrifice. Only so does the Churchunderstand its meaning, in the Spirit of love to which it is animated and which it conveys to us, for the Holy Spirit dwells in all the faithful who receive sacramentally Christ at the Divine Liturgy.
