Summary/Abstract: Starting from the attachment theory and the idea that students are learning much faster and better in a secure environment, based on the emotional connection with the religion teacher, the current article focused on the need of a new approach within the religion class. The role of the central attachment figure that the religion teacher can have, can produce healing effects and nourish the exploration of faith in God. Through the emotional relationship with the religion teacher, the student can meet theideal attachment figure in the person of God.
