Summary/Abstract: This communication aims to present the unknown aspects of culture and civilization of a risk area, due to a conflict, seen through the eyes of a traveler less than usual. A native of Trotus Valley, mister Iulius Bogasiu was participating in several peacekeeping missions in Kosovo, over the period 2006–2011, as a platoon commander. Being impressed by those seen with eyes and soul, he shared us his thoughts, as a challenge for anyone who wants to make a real journey in the Kosovo area. This area was compared by mister Iulius Bogasiu with northern Moldavia in/ our country, because of the large number of churches and monasteries.
