Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the prayer book that was written in the Cistercian Convent Porta Coeli in Schweinheim (Euskirchen) in 1515 and was later moved to the library of Counts von Manderscheid-Blankenheim at Blankenheim Castle (National Library of the CR, shelf mark XXIII H 8). The manuscript provides new information on the members of the fourth generation of the knightly family Kirsboem von Heinsberg, an illegitimate branch of the Rhineland family of the counts von Loon-Heinsberg, and proves their kinship with a member of the convent in Schweinheim.
