Summary/Abstract: As if the intention of the paper was to stimulate the final choice between two situations, where one situation completely excludes the presence of the other. In such a choice lies a heated dispute. However, the paper does not follow the previous intention of critical exclusion. Rather, its motive focuses on defining (rather than discovering) the importance of assimilation and integration at several levels of analysis, against the more distant background of the Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities, which was adopted by the Council of Europe ten years ago. However, the usual meaning is uncertain, as is its objectivity. For example, human experience as a non-linguistic fact or language rules is involved in defining it. Even the consensual definition of meaning does not lead to final or eternal objectivity.
