Summary/Abstract: The research has investigated the factors that influence the integration of children with various disabilities into mainstream schools if such integration is possible at this time, and whether the Romanian education system is currently prepared to achieve a real inclusion of these children. This research is a study that examines teachers' perception of incorporation/ integration/ inclusion of children with special education needs in mainstream schools. It is a descriptive study that does not interfere experimentally but analyses the teachers' perception of inclusive education. A large number of participants (48.97%) think that lack of time to pay more attention to these children is the main issue that makes it difficult for such a student to integrate into a regular classroom, and a small part (14.28%) of the teachers think that the existence of a child with special educational needs in the classroom would cause them a psychological overload.
