Summary/Abstract: Didactic games are particularly referable to non-formal education. They seem to be the perfect way to develop what is known today as ,,the 21st century skills”. These are the skills that a person living today should possess in order to personally perform well, in all aspects of life, in this unforeseeable new world. Besides many skills related to information and technology literacy, the 21st century skills include the ones that address such life skills as communication and collaboration, critical thinking and problem solving, creativity and innovation, flexibility and adaptability or leadership and responsability. There are two didactic games that are presented, including information about their scope and objectives, their descriptions, their anticipated results or necessary resources. The didactic games called ,,M & M’s” and ,,(Soul) Treasure Hunting” are two games that can be mostly used during Counselling and Guidance classes.
