Summary/Abstract: This paper is devoted explanation basic concepts related to religion. Addressing key term religio gradually shifting to the definition of Religion and religiosity (the development) so that we further define the boundaries of religion – its anthropological, cultural studies and theological dimension. Finally, we briefly introduce religion in the context of ecumenism, inculturation, focusing on the survival of religion in families.
