Summary/Abstract: The legal status of the local elected person from local government, which is well defined, provides these public authorities efficient governance. Purpose of the present article is to study the normative acts concerning the one of the elements of the legal status of the local councilor, namely the legal liability of these persons (contravention).Were analyzed the regulations of the Contravention Code of the Republic of Moldova regarding the responsibility of each member of the collegiate body in case of adoption of the illicit administrative act. In addition, were studied the explanations of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Republic of Moldova.
