Summary/Abstract: The legal status of the local elected person from local government, which is well defined, provides these public authorities efficient governance. Purpose of the present article is to study the literature and the normative acts concerning the one of the elements of the legal status of the local councilor from the local council, namely the legal liability of these persons.
