Summary/Abstract: This article explores the case law of the European Court of Justice (CJEU) on Public Procurement. It analyzes the control exercised by the Court in this area related to the transposition of Directives into the national law of the Member States. It also shows how the jurisprudence of the CJEU in this area contributes to the development and uniform application of EU law in the Member States by means of a reference for a preliminary ruling. In addition to interpreting the provisions of the European law, the Court grants legal definitions of some basic concepts and formulates the key principles to be observed when implementing Public Procurement objectives.
