Summary/Abstract: The study records the Romanian governments from December 1989 to August 30, 2019, trying to provide an answer from a legalistic perspective (Romanian Constitution) to the question: What are the situations that lead to the end of one government and the birth of another, besides the one of parliamentary elections? The article summarizes the governmental dynamics on each electoral cycle, from the perspective of the causes that led to the changes of government.
