Summary/Abstract: The article presents sources of universally binding law, lists the sources of law, the system ofsources of law and the legal power of the Act. The principle of the supremacy of the PolishConstitution over other acts was also presented. Moreover, the attention was paid to the formalscope and construction of the Act in accordance with the principles of legislative technique.Also, the primacy of the Act and its highest legal force after the Constitution were discussed. Inaddition, the layout of the Act and categories of legal provisions in the Act were described.Attention was paid to the legislative initiative, entities and bodies with the right to the legislativeinitiative were presented.
