RIGHTS AND SCOPE OF LIABILITY OF THE SUCCESSOR MANAGER IN THE CONTEXT OF CONDUCTING LICENSED ACTIVITIE

Summary/Abstract: The article entitled "Powers and scope of responsibility of the successor manager in the contextof conducting licensed activities" discusses in detail the most important assumptions of the Actof June 5, 2018, on the succession management of a natural person's enterprise (hereinafter: theAct). The aim of the paper is to provide an insight into the institution of the successor manager,which creates the possibility to conduct a licensed activity after the death of the concessionaire.Nonetheless, the innovative assumptions of the Act arouse many practical interpretative doubts,e.g. in the context of imposing administrative penalties on the company "inheritance". This articleis an attempt to dispel the above doubts. What is more, the main principles and assumptionsof the Act are thoroughly analyzed in the article, which allows for an in-depth understanding ofits significance, primarily in the context of running a licensed business.
