Snoezelen as a Form of Comprehensive Rehabilitation for a Child with Multiple Disabilities

Summary/Abstract: In the present paper, the author identifies conceptual expressions related to the system of integrated rehabilitation for a child with multiple disabilities. The social worker in the system of integrated rehabilitation also uses methods related to medical, health, pedagogical rehabilitation and which are related to the preservation of the optimal physical, sensory, intellectual, as well as psychological level of the individual functions of the body. The author of the case studies points to Snoezelen as a unique opportunity to rehabilitate a child with multiple disabilities.
