Summary/Abstract: The “datafication” of society requires clear, harmonized and strict measures in order to ensure the effective protection of the children, direct consumers of an important number of information society services. The paper aims to present on overview of the applicable provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation in the field of child protection in case of data processing.
