Execution procedural issues and the application of national rules with regard to the processing of personal data

Summary/Abstract: This study made an investigation on the status of the new regulations from National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing. The study also provides a detailed analysis of the obligations, sanctions and remedies imposed by Law no. 102/2005 on the establishment, organisation and functioning of the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing. The conclusion of this study is that changes in the Law no. 102/2005 by Law no. 129/2018 are substantial and provides some new elements that raise a multitude of procedural issues.
