Summary/Abstract: The present study explores the major documents framing the defence aspects of the Common Security and Defence Policy of the European Union after the presentation of the new Global Strategy on Foreign and Security Policy. Their aims and content are presented together with some of the Bulgarian positions expressed in the process of their elaboration and adoption.
