Summary/Abstract: For the last five hundred years of humankind's existence, nearly half of the world's languages have died, along with their native speakers, for various reasons. The article presents an endangered but still preserved language. Moreover, since 2007, the Venetian language has had the status of an official one, albeit of regional importance.
