Summary/Abstract: This paper deals with literary-historical portrait of the writer Hamid Šahinović Ekrem. Among others, we will make a review of all that this writer published: poetry, prose and drama in Bosnian Herzegovinians journals. We have tried to sort out Šahinović's poetic and literary-historical specificity, as well as his common characteristics with the writers of the Bosniak Revival literature and interwar period. Also, the paper deals with his status in literary criticism.
