Summary/Abstract: Torlak Alija was one of the most popular heros of the Ottoman period. During his life, a lot of songs were registered about his strength, courage and bravery, and after his death, his grave became a cult place for Muslims. In this paper, based on the available sources, we will try to partially illuminate this great hero's life and folklore of Muslims Torlakovac and Vince about it.
