Labour Law of the European Communities in the Czech Labour law after Recodification of the Labour Code

Summary/Abstract: The labour law of the European Community was reflected in the Czech labour law at the time when the Czech Republic was preparing for its accession to the European Community by means of fundamental and extensive amendments of the then Labour Code, i.e. Act No. 155/2000 Coll. and certain other legal acts. In the following paper, we shall pay attention to the reflection of the EC labour law into the new Labour Code, i.e. Act No. 262/2006 Coll., the Labour Code, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the “Labour Code”).
