Summary/Abstract: The author deals with the free movement of workers inside the European Union and with other questions connected with it. She defines the principles and content of the right of free movement of workers in connection with the EU nationality. On this background she analysis the special question – determining the law governing the labour law relationship with the international element. She deals with EU instruments regulating relationships with the international element – especially the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council No 593/2008 on the law applicable to contractual obligations (Rome I) and its article 8 relating to the individual employment contracts.
