Summary/Abstract: The contribution especially relates to criminal liability of the distrainer arising from illegal distressed sale of the personal property. The contribution contains basic facts to introduce in problems, outline of the law including judicial decisions, and current amendments of the law in distress of the personal property. The contribution reacts to the distressed sale of the personal property which was listed by the distraining enforcers, because making of the list of the personal property by the distraining enforcers is illegal and causes the liability of the distrainer.
